2026 Hometown Hero Outdoors Person of the Year: Jonny Castro

We are honored to announce that our 2026 Hometown Hero Outdoors Person of the Year is Jonny Castro, a U.S. Army veteran and Philadelphia Police Department officer whose extraordinary work has touched lives across the nation.

His dedication has brought healing, remembrance, and comfort to thousands of families, embodying the very heart of service and sacrifice.
